Let’s build a more gender-balanced economy by supporting and empowering women-led businesses. Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, movers, shakers—we believe when women thrive, we all thrive.
What is Women-Led Wednesday?
Women-Led Wednesday is an annual, purpose-driven holiday the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It’s a day for us to unite in support of women-led businesses and uplift women in leadership. Think Small Business Saturday, but with a special focus on women-led businesses.
Why support women-led businesses?
- While women make up 52% of the professional workforce, only 25% hold executive and senior-level positions, only 20% sit on boards, and only 6% are CEOs.
- Women-led businesses receive less than 2% of venture funding and are 3 times more likely to get denied bank loans.
- Meanwhile, the power of the female dollar is at an all-time high—hello Barbie, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift!
When we invest in women, we empower women to become leaders—business leaders, thought leaders, philanthropic leaders, community leaders, and so much more. Through our collective purchasing power and voice we can level the playing field. Please join us in shopping women-led this Wednesday, November 27th—and every day.

Rhonda Swenson
Krimson Klover
When our founder Rhonda Swenson started Krimson Klover in 2009, she set out to rewrite the narrative of how women are seen in the outdoors, in business, and in our world at large. She wanted to build an outdoor & lifestyle apparel brand that focused on empowering women across our communities. Born into a dynamic Texas ranching family, Rhonda credits her mom for passing down her feisty, artistic, and big-hearted traits—inspiring Rhonda to take risks and fight for what she believes in. Rhonda launched Krimson Klover with these fundamental values. We incorporate energetic colors, textures, and graphics in our apparel, and we bring that same intention to how we live our lives. We look at each day as a new adventure—an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. We’re here to inspire you to do the same. We love supporting this community, and we love helping you stay out a little longer, explore a little deeper, and feel absolutely fabulous along the way.
Affton Coffelt-Shouse
Broken Top Brands
What began as a humble candle company in Affton’s small kitchen in Bend, OR, ignited (pun intended) over the last decade to become a values-driven brand offering an array of home and personal care products from linen sprays and car fresheners to lotions and soaps to diffusers and perfumes. Every scent in the Broken Top collection is developed to have its own unique expression; notes blended from Affton’s personal catalog of family traditions, then evolved and expressed in modern context. Both familiar and unexpected. Affton believes sustainable, eco-conscious products should be affordable, yet luxurious, and healthy to seamlessly fit into your family’s lifestyle.
Genevieve Brazelton
The Bitter Housewife
Before launching The Bitter Housewife, Genevieve’s career was a melding of her love of food and beverage with her talent for storytelling. She was an editor at Wine & Spirits magazine, an account manager for boutique food and beverage-focused marketing and PR agencies, and a bar and restaurant manager. At home, Genevieve began to craft the perfect bitters for her favorite cocktail, the old fashioned, and it turns out what she landed on was pretty darn good. Lucky for us, she decided to bring her recipes to the masses. Disillusioned by both the exclusive, “old boys club” bitters brands and the pink, flowery, “skinny” labels marketed towards women, Genevieve created a modern, fresh bitters brand that crafts exceptional products using quality, natural ingredients—making it accessible to everyone.
Emily Trower-Young
Em & El Organics
Over a decade ago, Emily Trower-Young found herself battling a sudden and stubborn case of adult acne. After a series of failed prescription drugs, visits to dermatologists, and products that simply didn’t work, she began to research ancient skin care techniques from women around the world, experimenting with plant oils and pure essential oils. Emily’s travels influenced the ingredients she chose, eventually leading to the formula for the appropriately named “Saving Face Moisturizer”. When friends and family mentioned their skin problems to Emily, she began to scoop out her handmade moisturizer, stored in a mason jar on the bathroom sink, into small take-home bags. The results: clearer, softer, easier to manage skin. Eventually, Emily decided to turn her “goop in a jar” into a fully developed skin care line. Firmly dedicated to organic growing practices, Em & El Organics sources their ingredients from small family businesses and farms, and makes sustainability the cornerstone of the brand.
Natalie Van Dusen
Treeline Coffee
Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a woman named Natalie discovered the ancient craft of coffee roasting while traveling across Colombia on a motorcycle adventure. Driven by curiosity and a fierce love of coffee, she was inspired by a visit with a local farmer who not only taught her about the growing process but also invited her into his home to show her how he roasted freshly harvested coffee over an open flame. Over the next six years Natalie cultivated her craft, experimentally roasting until eventually her passion outgrew its status as a hobby, making the decision to leave her career in tech to focus solely on coffee. From that farm in Colombia to a small coffee food truck to a roastery with two cafes in Bozeman, MT and a thriving online subscription club, Natalie has created a coffee company rooted in community, driven by craftsmanship, and inspired by the incredible story of how coffee finds its way into our happy bellies to fuel the things we love.
