Super cute but runs big!!

I’m 5’10” and 185 lbs, on the athletic side. I tried on the Sela in store (size large) and loved the bloom pattern, so for something a little different I went for the Bella. I prefer a more fitted look, and I thought I’d be safe since I tried on the Sela, and I’m pretty much a large in tops across the board. My concern was if I size down, the arm openings and waist would feel tight. But even at a 36D, the chest runs larger and is a bit bulky. That can be nice, but I’d need multiple thick layers to fill the extra room out. Otherwise, the length, color and pattern is beautiful, and exactly as pictured. I just wish it was more fitted like the pictures show. As a tall person, I struggle to find clothing that sizes up in length and not width. I’m hoping I can find a friend who can dust off their sewing machine and take this in a bit.
